Situated on the Route De La Baie only 4 miles from one of the most visited places in France, Le Mont St. Michel. Within a reasonable driving distance you can reach the many small beaches around the bay as far as Cancale and St. Malo to the west, and to the east the hilltop town of Avranches. The peninsular leading to Cherbourg also has many beaches along the way such as can be found at Jullouville. The old port of granville is well worth a visit, especially at the lookout point.

Villedieu-les-Poeles, famous for its copper work, is worth a visit on its Tuesday market day. For further exploration, an hour and a half drive will take you to St. Lo and also Bayeux for a visit to the famous tapestry, but be warned! Go early in the summer to avoid long queues. From bayeux, it is a short drive to the area used for the D-Day landings. Off shore at Arromanche you can still see parts of the Mulberry habours and you can then follow the beaches passing the Gold, Omaha, Utah, Juno and Sword beaches.

Living Room For the children, there are zoos, theme parks and bouncy castles all within 15 minutes drive of the cottage itself. Back home at the cottage, you will be able to enjoy all the comforts of home, a fully equipped kitchen with washing machine, microwave, full size stove, coffee maker and iron. There are also toys, games and a paddling pool for the children. Also, there is a cot, high-chair, changing mats and feeding cups for the under 1's.

The lounge has an English TV & Video along with a selection of films, there is also a Hi-Fi unit and a selection of books and games. Outside, there is a patio with garden furniture and a barbecue should you wish to cook outside. Just half an hours drive from St. Malo, this quietly situated, traditional cottage, built in the french style, is close to local amenities and combines rustic comfort with modern facilities. The cosy living room has a log fire, and is adjacent to the modern kitchen/diner.

Picture Goes Here too... Five persons can be comfortably accommodated; there is one bedroom with a double bed, one single room and a mezzanine with another double bed. There is a shower and WC. A hair dryer is also available. Should you wish to bring any appliances, all the sockets in the cottage are English sockets. Bedding is provided, but please remember to bring your own towels and tea-towels.

Prices start at £195 per week in the low season, for high-season prices, please contact us via email or at the address below. One third of the price is payable upon booking as a non-refundable deposit, with the balance to be paid six weeks prior to arrival. All cheques are to be payable to Mr B. D. Shaddick.
